The sweeping lines are breathtaking in their elegance but keeping in mind a contemporary attitude, making this one of their best-selling tables. Town & Country Collection
we all dream about great antique finds. Everyone hears of old pieces being rescued...at estate sales, in attics, and from old barns. We thrill at the discovery of found treasures and look forward with anticipation to the special place these pieces will have within our hearts and homes. Century Furniture's Town & Country Collection features 17th- and 18th- century English and French country inspirations with some modern redesign to assure their place in your heart and home. Each piece is a showcase of solid silver maple and veneers detailed with wide-planked boards, scrolled metalwork, composite details, and brushed metal hardware. One of the showcase pieces in this collection is the breathtaking Town & Country King Size Bed (429-186), shown at left in Amaretto finish. This wonderful bed features a scalloped headboard with decorative bundled wheat carving. Overscaled cabriole feet emphasize the scrolled carvings on the footboard posts. Caperana Collection
The stunning Caperana Collection by Century Furniture is crafted in the country Italian tradition and exemplifies "La Vita Dolce", then gentle life of good food, good wine, and great design. Caperana might best be described at casually elegant, crafted primarily in maple and embodying the characteristics of classic Italian furniture: muted, sun-washed colors, voluptuous shapes, detailed carving, wrought iron, hammered copper and rustic travertine. Perhaps no piece embodies this more than the 749-402 Credenza with Hammered Copper Top Inserts shown at right. Two rectangles of hammered copper, gleaming with rich, variegated tones, nestle in the wood-framed top. The center door front drops down to reveal a rack meant to store 12 bottles of your finest vino. Above it are three small drawers (outside two with lined silver trays and center one with drop in liner) and below it is another far more spacious drawer. Castellan Collection:
