Wesley Allen uses the PowerBond finishing process which many consider to be the most durable finish available on any bed. The character of your Wesley Allen bed comes to life as their talented artisans create the finish you've selected for your bed. Each finish is hand-applied, layer upon layer, to create the distinctive look that you have selected for your bed. The bed is then baked in specialty ovens where extremely high temperatures produce a PowerBond finish of superior durability and richness. Wesley Allen's "Millenium Frame System" uses high-gauge steel to ensure durability, strength, and maximum support for the mattress and box spring. Three cross rails with welded "V" brackets create five additional points of contact for each bed. Side rails are engineered specifically to add greater strength in the corners, where bed stress is most likely. Please note that when ordering a headboard only, bed frames must be included as a separate item on the order.

Polishing is never required. An occasional wiping with a soft, damp cloth will remove surface dust. Skin creams, hair sprays and other chemicals may contain solvents that may adversely affect the painted finish.

SOME INFORMATION ON BOB TIMBERLAKE, THE ARTIST
At the age of 33, Bob was encouraged by Andrew Wyeth to devote himself to painting full-time. His first three solo exhibitions at New York's Hammer Galleries were sold out days before their openings. He has held numerous solo museum exhibitions, including the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C., the Fry Museum in Seattle, and the Isetan Gallery in Tokyo. Bob designed the first Christmas Stamp for the US Postal Service, both the North Carolina and South Carolina statehood stamps, and the commemorative postcard marking the bicentennial of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

THE COLLECTOR AND DESIGNER 
An avid collector, Bob surrounds himself with things that evoke images of a simpler time: decoys, enamelware, canoes, birdhouses, quilts, antiques, and other icons of the rural South. In 1990, Bob launched a comprehensive furniture line based on his designs through Lexington Home Brands. The World of Bob Timberlake furniture collection soon became one of the most successful line introductions in the history of the industry.
